My Easter table at home.

Hello and welcome to my blog.. this is the place to see in more detail, all the goings-on in my 'artsy crafty' life !

Today I'm sharing with you my alfresco Easter table decor..its has to be the longest, hardest winter we have EVER endured , winter is tough in the UK as it is, but being locked down..very little day light ,many friends and family having been sick ..Unable to spend Christmas with loved ones, a January of nothings ..the pressure of home school and financial worries for many, to name but a few wr are done.

Needless to say, the arrival of spring and the promise of seeing friends and family (all be it 6 at a time) for Easter, is a seriously important goal on my horizon.

I have really enjoyed planning my Easter table for this year..pastel glass, tulips and hand dyed linnens have been put together to achieve this bright, spring look,  with a homemade feel.

My little napkins have been a delight..you can read on a previous blog , all about how I made these. I've teamed them with a vintage tea plate from my China collection and the little bunny napkin rings are from B & M .

I also hand printed my table cloth..just a simple £8 plain tablecloth from Asda transformed with my little hand printed, Easter eggs.

Here's the ambre of tulips center piece,  looking fabulous ..The making of this is on another blog too, so do have a read if you want to make one.

I love how it takes center stage and blends perfectly with the pastel glass and table wear.. such a conversation piece.. Im now officially obsessed with ambre floral design !

If you look carefully I've set tea cups for my kids.. I usually put blue or green coloured lemonade in a tea pot for them to have in the tea cup.. they love how fun that is and it's such a simple thing to make it special.

The pretty bunny glass holders are from poundland..what a bargain !! I will have some bread sticks and lolipops in those on Easter day.

I have a tones of crockery and none of it matches ..thats just how I like it too !

The little bunny cutlery holders I thought were a lovely touch. Also from B&M stores and very inexpensive.

Its been such a pleasure to design this simple Easter table..My favourite thing has definatley been to print the linnens. It got me completly excited at what else I can print now.  The more bespoke (made by me) items I have in my home the more in love with it I am, every day.

I do hope you too feel inspired to create, for your own Easter table.
